My research and writing has focused on political and social issues in Japan. I have also written about Japanese popular culture and American internet culture.
I am the author of Japan’s Nationalist Right in the Internet Age (2021, Routledge), a book about Japanese conservative activism relating to historical memory and territorial disputes.
